Also, mark your calendars for July 20, 2019 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing.

- Find a moon rock near you here
- Go see the Houston Museum of Natural Science Moon Exhibit
- Visit a planetarium
- Build a classic film canister rocket here
- Spot the International Space Station over your city here
Animals
- Explore yeast with “kid-safe” Monster toothpaste
- Walk on egg shells by Preschool Powol Packets
- Soak a gummy bear with osmosis by Playdough to Plato
- Try out bat-echolocation using a slinky by Learn+Play=PreK
- Shrink an egg by Janice Van Cleave
- Go fishing!
Plants
- Grow our own avocado plant (Hint: takes 6 weeks start early in the summer)
- Build a nature sculpture by Share it! Science
- Send a flower through a maze
- Color a flower our favorite color
- Separate leaf colors with chromatography
- Grow a plant in a jar
- Head to a farm to berry pick
- Go camping!
