What did you do the day after Easter? We had Monday off, so we decided to test out how strong our Easter eggshells really are are!
What you need: 4 egg halves, masking tape, and canned food
What you do:
1. Wrap the middle section of the egg halves with tape
2. Cut the edges to make them even
3. Stack 4 egg halves as a base
4. Place as many cans on top as you can!
What’s the science:
The strength of the egg comes from its dome shape as it distributes the weight of the cans from the top of the dome to the base! Amazing! 😲🙌 How many can you stack? Of course then we had to see if we could crush an egg with our bare hands.. that was fun (and messy!) We hope you have fun trying this one at home!
